Telehealth RN - Remote eICU Care Specialist

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an eICU Care Specialist, providing remote care to patients through advanced telehealth technology. This exciting opportunity allows you to work from home, offering flexibility while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. As a Telehealth RN, you will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, collaborating with medical teams, and ensuring timely and effective interventions. You will use state-of-the-art technology to track patient vitals, assess conditions, and support healthcare providers in delivering optimal care.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess critically ill patients remotely through eICU technology.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to on-site healthcare providers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Respond to emergencies promptly, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatments.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care, ICU, or emergency nursing.
  • Telehealth experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
