Position Overview: As a Customer Support Specialist at Chewy, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service experiences to our valued pet parents. This is a remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere within the U.S. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product recommendations to ensure a seamless and positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone, email, and chat, ensuring high-quality and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies, shipping concerns, and product inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide detailed information about products, services, and policies to customers, offering personalized recommendations and solutions to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in the company’s CRM system.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal teams, including operations and product specialists, to resolve customer issues and improve service processes.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with company promotions, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of previous experience in customer support, ideally in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with patience and tact.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to multitask between systems.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Passion for pets and knowledge of pet care products and services is a plus.
